Charlotte Douglas has 13 lounges and lounge-style spaces spread across 5 concourses, more than most airports twice its size, because American Airlines runs CLT as its second-largest hub after DFW. Two Admirals Clubs, a Centurion Lounge, a Delta Sky Club, and the only Priority Pass lounge in the airport all compete for the same connecting passengers.
None of that matters if you're carrying the wrong card. Here's every lounge at CLT, organized by concourse, with the cards that get you in.
CLT Terminal and Concourse Layout
CLT operates a single Main Terminal with 5 airside concourses: A, B, C, D, and E. Once you clear the checkpoint, every concourse connects on foot through the secure zone. There's no train and no re-screening between them, so a stop at the Centurion Lounge on the D/E connector and a later visit to an Admirals Club in Concourse B are both reachable on the same boarding pass.
That connectivity is what makes CLT unusual: a passenger with the right card can realistically hit 2 or 3 lounges during a long layover without leaving security once.
Two Admirals Clubs Plus Provisions
The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card is built around this airport. American Airlines operates 2 full Admirals Clubs at CLT: one in Concourse B between gates B3 and B5, open 4:15 AM to 10:45 PM, and one at the Concourse C/D connector, open 5:15 AM to 10:45 PM. Both offer the standard Admirals Club format: a stocked bar, hot and cold food, workspaces, and showers.
A third option, Provisions by Admirals Club, sits in Concourse A next to gate A1. It's a smaller, quick-service format for travelers who want a snack and a seat rather than a full lounge experience, open 6:15 AM to 9:15 PM.

Featured Card
AAdvantage Executive
$595 annual fee
The AAdvantage Executive Card includes a complimentary Admirals Club membership worth up to $850 a year, covering all 3 Admirals Club spaces at CLT plus every Admirals Club and select Star Alliance lounge nationwide.
Access to all 3 requires an Admirals Club membership, either through the AAdvantage Executive card, a same-day first or business class ticket on American, or a standalone membership. Without one, a day pass is $79 and only valid if you're flying American that day.
The Centurion Lounge (Concourse D/E Connector)
The Amex Platinum crowd has its own stop: the Centurion Lounge on the mezzanine of the Concourse D/E connector, open 7 AM to 10:30 PM daily. It runs the Centurion format found in other major cities: a premium open bar, a hot and cold buffet built around Southern-inspired dishes, 2 shower rooms, a family room, and private workspaces.
Access is limited to 3 hours before your scheduled departure, and most gates are a 5 to 15-minute walk from the lounge, so build in time if you're catching a tight connection. The Centurion Card, Amex Platinum, Amex Business Platinum, and Delta SkyMiles Reserve cards (personal and business) all get you in.
Guest policy varies by card. Centurion cardholders bring 2 guests free. Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders need $75,000 in eligible purchases in the current calendar year to unlock free guests; short of that threshold, guests pay $50 for an adult or $30 for a child. Additional day passes for anyone else run $50 per person.
The Club CLT: The Only Priority Pass Lounge
CLT has exactly one lounge in the Priority Pass network: The Club CLT, in Concourse A near gates A21 and A22, open 5 AM to 9:30 PM. Entry opens 3 hours before your scheduled flight, and a day pass without a qualifying card costs $60.
The Chase Sapphire Reserve and Capital One Venture X both carry complimentary Priority Pass Select memberships, making The Club CLT their default option at this airport until Capital One's own lounge opens nearby.
Delta Sky Club (Concourse A Mezzanine)
Delta runs a smaller operation at CLT than at its own hubs, but the Delta Sky Club on the Concourse A mezzanine near gate A32 is still active, open 5 AM to 8 PM. Delta SkyMiles Reserve cardholders get standard Sky Club access, and Amex Platinum cardholders get up to 10 visits per year across any Delta Sky Club nationwide, including this one. Priority Pass members can also enter, subject to capacity limits Delta enforces more aggressively than most Priority Pass partners.
What's Coming: Capital One and a Second Centurion Space
Two more lounges are under construction. Capital One is building a roughly 14,000-square-foot lounge on the Concourse A mezzanine near gates 21 to 29, which will be the largest lounge in Capital One's network once it opens; no confirmed opening date has been announced as of mid-2026. American Express has also announced Sidecar by The Centurion Lounge, a smaller-format space also planned for Concourse A, targeting a 2027 opening.
Both additions cluster around Concourse A, which already holds Provisions by Admirals Club, The Club CLT, and the Delta Sky Club, making it the densest lounge concourse at CLT once construction wraps.

Bottom Line
The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card is the strongest single card at CLT, since Admirals Club membership covers all 3 American-branded spaces in an airport American treats as a core hub. Amex Platinum holders still get the best individual lounge in the Centurion, and Chase Sapphire Reserve or Venture X cardholders default to The Club CLT until Capital One's own space opens.
